He lives in a world of his own, full of curiosities and values, but when you catch a glimpse, you realise that it is a wonderful world. One of his thoughts set in motion Dox-al research in the pet sector. His Weimaraner puppy was ill, with a form of lupus, and Marco had stopped using antibiotics, treating her with Dox-al prebiotics. The puppy got better, and the idea emerged for a pet division, one that is currently beginning to take its first steps. Marco is part of a dynasty of veterinarians, and it is no coincidence that the thesis for his degree as a nutritional technician was based on animal well-being, in correlation with farriery. There is no doubt that it is an original subject, one that attracted the attention of a Dox-al technician.
His entrance into the company was also unusual. He was unloading parcels during one of the countless jobs he had in his youth, when he received the fateful call. However, he thought it was a cold call from a call centre and was about to brusquely put the phone down. Fortunately, he didn’t, and he has been here since 2016. He currently plays an important role, liaising between the laboratory and the field, collecting data, developing new lines and adapting and modifying products as necessary. However, things did not always go so smoothly, because he started in the sales department, and he was not so keen on his role there. He cut his teeth on sales representative training programmes, creating technical materials, dossiers and detailed information, gradually moving to the more suitable role of technician.
He finally ended up in a field that suited him, also because Dox-al “is a company that listens and gives you the opportunity to improve”. Here he found fertile ground for his passion, research and experimentation, accompanied by that for quality, an essential prerequisite for the concrete and daily use of the products. For Marco, Dox-al is a kind of zootechnical boutique, where professionalism and experience in the pharmaceutical and feed sectors are guarantees of excellence.
Seeing that he loves to “understand things”, he was able to dismantle and reassemble his motorbike, study herbs and fungi during his excursions in the mountains and on horseback, and he even has a skipper licence. We told you that his was a world to be explored.
