Vittorio Bichisao

Purchasing Manager

In a certain sense, Vittorio was born into the profession, because his father was one of the founding partners of Dox-al, but his entry into the company was not exactly triumphant. After unenthusiastic results at school, which were followed by years of evening courses, he was called on to join the company as a factotum, an idea proposed by Fabio Veneroni. He was just 17, and he was to spend another 38 here. He started in the sales department, where he learned how to form relations with other people, a skill that would prove priceless. However, the real change came with the arrival of information technology. This was a field that he was interested in as a hobby, and that allowed him to oversee a small area that was, at the time, unexplored.

Vittorio grew together with Dox-al, and soon learned the meaning of the dynamism that lay at the heart of the company. From zooming from one department to another by moped, delivering mail to the post office or the accountant, he moved to BMP® sales, and in the meantime widened and consolidated his knowledge in the field of IT. He now defines himself as a front man at Dox-al, because he is on the front line in maintaining relations with suppliers, mediating external and internal demands. Naturally, he continues his precious and obscure work of organising data, which is fundamental for management control.

It is no surprise that over time, Vittorio has assimilated a series of values, above all his capacity for vision, which is summed up in a meaningful anecdote: “In the last publication, Flavio Veneroni spoke of the budget for the next thirty years…”. It is an expression of time that is perfectly in line with the concept of sustainability, because projects at Dox-al, thanks to constant research, move with the times, often anticipating them.

Dox-al has been a home for Vittorio for almost 40 years, and this is exactly how he describes it. “However, it has also been a school, because I have had a number of teachers who have passed on technical, commercial, financial and fiscal skills”. He has also learned a management model that has served him in starting an online business distributing food and wine. This is one of his many interests, as Vittorio is also a passionate motorcycle tourist, an aspiring musician and composer, and a participant in a theatrical association. Let’s say his life is full of everything except boredom.
